SOURCES: NC State's Ernest Ross And MJ Rice No Longer With Team

According to multiple sources close to the situation, NC State guard MJ Rice and forward Ernest Ross are no longer with the team.

Rice appeared in nine games for the Wolfpack in the 2023 season, averaging 4.1 points and 1.9 rebounds in 8.8 minutes of action per game before choosing to sit out the remainder of the year.

Ross averaged 0.3 points and 0.4 rebounds in 14 games this season.  He had entered the portal back in mid-April.

NC State landed a commitment from Canadian forward Ismael Diouf‍ on Monday and now has one scholarship available for the 2024-2025 season.
