PREGAME: Abdul-Malik Abu Talks UNC
NC State senior forward Abdul-Malik Abu met with the media today to discuss Saturday's game against North Carolina.
You've won them all so far.
We're not really worried about any state championships, rivalries... I don't know what you guys want to call it.
We have to go out there and play our season where all these games are important. Every game is just as important. Nothing is more of a Super Bowl or more of an exhibition than another.
Is that different than in previous seasons?
I feel like at this point in time in the ACC season our goal has been to stack these wins because we know how difficult our league is.
Even for tomorrow, we just have to go out there and handle business... not think of it as anything else than the next game.
Those guys have been shooting more three's but they have improved play from the guys down low.
Definitely, I feel like through the course of the season teams will get better. I feel like we're one of the teams still getting better too.
It's going to be interesting. We're looking forward to it.
Is it vital to take care of business at home?
It's very vital, especially in this league. It's one of the more important things in the ACC. Anyone can beat anybody in this league in this league if you're not prepared.
Taking care of home court is one of the big priorities.
