IPS Take On Taiyon Palmer: A true Signing Day Special for NC State, Palmer emerged as arguably the hottest recruit in the country after the early signing period.
A 6-foot, 180 pound cornerback, Palmer is an outstanding athlete. He recorded a laser 4.58 40-yard dash at the Nike Opening with a 4.27 shuttle and 37.8-inch vertical jump.
On film, he shows a physicality to his game and he comes from a great program at Archer... he's challenged everyday in practice.
A potential return man as well, the expectation is Palmer has the skills to potentially compete for playing time as a true freshman.
