Great discussion today.

Lots of regional talk today, and I get it, but I'd love it for Avent to finally get an ACC Title. I think this squad can do that. If State can get 2 of 3 this weekend, it likely means a top 4 seed in the ACC Tournament. That means you only have to win one game in pool play. In that scenario, thoughts on:

Highfill in the must-win pool play game
Young guys/depth/bullpen game in the meaningless second pool play game
Whitaker in the semis
Fritton for Sunday.

I like it except I would flip Fritton and Whitaker. I want Whitaker to have the ball in the ACC Championship game or the first regional matchup. That's just preference though really. I think that dude is a foxhole guy.
