How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm hoping that Whitaker being in the dugout this past weekend was a good sign that he's getting closer to coming back. Hoping that's the case.

I noticed that also. Depending what he was sick from it may take some time to get his strength back though.

He is almost ready but don't expect him to be back in the starting Rotation most likely out of the bullpen

I believe he was actually in the dugout in shorts last weekend as well, unless he has a twin. If he returns, it's going to be a while before he can be a starter IMO. Hopefully he can be back near full strength by the post season.
Just a guy on the sunshine squad.

Yeah he's been around the team this whole time I'm pretty sure. I'm thankful from a human perspective that he's feeling better. It had to be real alarming to drop that weight that fast especially considering the work he put in to add size to his frame.

From a baseball perspective, 4 innings a week would be huge. Obviously will have to work up to that, but that's gamechanging.
