COMMIT ALERT: Martin Picks NC State

NC State has landed a huge commitment from Iowa Western (IA) CC defensive tackle Val Martin‍.  Martin committed to NC State while on campus for his official visit.

As a redshirt freshman, Martin will sign next week and have three years left to play three seasons.  He also held offers from West Virginia, Washington State, FAU, Buffalo, New Mexico, and Ohio among others.

A second-team all-conference selection, Martin totaled 50 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, and three sacks this past season.  He is NC State's 24th commitment in the 2018 recruiting class.
