Brandon Cisse

“I think it’s been a really good spring for me, mostly from a confidence standpoint. Going off the experience last year and coming into this role now, I feel really good. I feel like I had a really good spring, but there are a lot of things that I still need to work on. I’ll get back to the drawing board.”

“It’s been nothing new. I’ve seen them multiple times. I go against those guys every day in practice, whether it be Noah, Wesley [Grimes], Dacari [Collins], or any of those guys. I feel like they do a really good job. Today, you got to see what they could do. It’s nothing new for me. I’m not surprised. It’s just something they’re going to do.”

“There are a lot of different things. I’ve got to know what everybody’s doing around me. Just because I played in the slot last year, I played on the outside before. I’ve got to make sure I know what everybody’s doing around me, be able to play multiple positions, and make sure I stay on top of my game. [Tony Gibson] is going to coach me hard and help do what I do best, and that’s make plays.”

“Change came quickly. It’s definitely new to me, but now I’m grown onto it and getting the hang of it. That’s allowed me to have more of a confident swagger to my game.”

Grayson McCall

“It was an unbelievable day and an unbelievable atmosphere. It felt good to get out there with the guys and throw it around a little bit. We had a really good day, and I’m looking forward to taking the momentum into fall camp this summer and see where things go.”

“It’s crazy. We have a lot of talent on offense and defense. Practice is very competitive every day. It’s unbelieveable. I have a lot of weapons on offense. We just have to continue to build that chemistry and get on the same page with each other. I think we can do big things this year.”

“That’s what I expected when I made the decision to come here. I know NC State is known for winning and for competing at the highest level. It’s been awesome to see the community get behind the men’s and women’s basketball teams and rally them forward. We expect to win here, and that’s our plan.”

“[C.J. Bailey] is an unbelievable talent. His arm really jumps out when you first see him. I got to see him run a little bit today. He’s a smart kid. I’ve never seen somebody, as a true freshman, this far along in terms of mental processing. His athletic ability is off the charts. I’m really excited about his future.”

Noah Rogers

“It really feels great. I just feel great playing football again, especially with a group of guys that are special and want to do something special for the state and the school. I’m really looking forward to that, and after today, we see a lot of great things. We’re going to build from there. This team’s going to be special.”

“I’ve just got to watch the film and learn from my mistakes. I’ve got to know where I’m at at all times and where the defenders are. Really, I’ve got to make catches like that on the jugs machine everyday and reel them in because that’s an important catch that the quarterback needs from me.”

“It’s so exciting. In my mind, I don’t think there’s a drive where we don’t score or get positive yards. This offense is really explosive, and there’s a lot of weapons from the first depth to the second and even the third.”

“It hasn’t been that big of an adjustment. We’re at it everyday. After practice, anything we miss, we get it in.”
