RALEIGH, N.C. - Five members of the 2017 Wolfpack football team have been named to the ACC All-Academic squad, the league office announced today. All five were starters for NC State's 9-4 squad last season.

Rising senior center Garrett Bradbury earned a nod for the second time in his career. The Charlotte native graduated in December with a degree in business supply operations management and is now pursuing a graduate certificate in youth development and leadership.

For the second time in his two years with the Wolfpack, quarterback Ryan Finley was named to the league's all-academic squad. Finley, who graduated prior to coming to NC State and is returning for his final season in 2018, posted a 3.889 GPA for the 2017 fall semester. Finley is working towards a Master's of Art and Liberal Studies.

Punter A.J. Cole III, who was named to the Allstate/AFCA Good Works Team in 2017, earned his first academic all-conference honor after posting an 3.898 GPA last fall in his industrial engineering major.

Tight end Cole Cook, a senior in 2017, was also honored for his academic performance last semester. Cook, a team captain in 2016 and 2017, is taking postgraduate classes in public policy.

Placekicker Carson Wise, who started the first nine games of 2017, is another postgraduate who was honored. Wise earned a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall in his parks, recreation and tourism Master's program.
