“I’m pretty excited. Obviously I was looking forward to being a part of the team last season, so getting hurt was a big bummer. Since that day, since surgery, every day has been about trying to get healthy, get strong.”
“I’m giddy. It’s like Christmas. I haven’t been able to do what’s important to me for six or seven months so I’m excited to be back on the field and back with the team.”
“In 2019 I had the same surgery on the other knee, I was about four or five games in... it was definitely tough. It’s been a while since that injury... it was good because I knew in a sense what the recovery was like and what I needed to do to get healthy.”
“Because I was here for pretty much the whole year I made a lot of friends and the team really came around me, especially when I got hurt.”
“I was able to be with my offensive line as much as I could, as much as my knee would allow... I feel like I’m more of a leader on this team with a year of experience. I’m excited.”
“It feels really good. I’m thankful for the training staff and weight staff to get me prepared and ready for this opportunity.”
“I got two degrees now. I graduated in December so I’m taking advantage of that like I can.”
“Now we’re hitting our stride as a team and as an offense... it’s exciting.”
