“I think this year just a lot more confidence. I trust my skillset a lot more. I’m stepping into a big role, competing for a starting job.”
“It’s a big thing of my game and really taking all my talents.”
“I was probably around 180 or 182... learning... I just wanted to put on weight and make sure my body was ready.”
“Aydan White is a really good friend of mine, not just on the field but off the field. I’ve learned a lot of things from him... we’re similar in some ways... he’s definitely been a leader for sure.”
“I was ready to step into that role. Learning from those guys it wouldn’t be a complete change if I had to go in. I was confident in my game and know what I’m capable of... I show up and work and I think I put that on tape.”
“It brings the best out of everybody... you want to put the best on tape and that’s what he speaks of. If you don’t want to play our brand of football you don’t want to play here. That’s a big thing, playing our brand of football.”
“I just had to learn from those guys... making sure I take things from both of those two and put them in my game.”
“It’s a big thing. Kids from South Carolina play good football down there; being able to play with Jimmar, Tank, having him in my room right now... I’m expecting big things out of him... I knew Christian in high school a little bit, I knew his family... I’m excited to see what both of those guys can do.”
