“It felt great to get back out there. I got injured about halfway through the season last year. Haven’t had the helmet on in a while but definitely feel blessed to be back out here.”

“Obviously a little different wearing the red and a new jersey number, but just an awesome feeling to be out here with the guys and get going.”

“I’m really excited about the spring and what we’ll build.”

“I’ve worn the number ten jersey for the past eight or nine years, so it will probably look a little weird on tape seeing myself in number two for the first time.”

“A number is a number. It is what it is. I’m happy to be here and happy coach will allow me to wear a jersey with NC State across the chest.  I’m just truly blessed to be here.”

“Some of the guys here in the spring, Noah and Wesley, came in around the same time as me.  Justin Joly and Juice are some of the guys that I’ve been able to work with.”

“Dacari and KC kind of lead the charge in that group, so we have to keep stacking days, get on the same page with those guys. I feel like today was a good start and a day to build on.”

“It’s learning the new offense, new system, new terminology, and taking new coaching.”

“The transition has been smooth, being able to sit in those meetings and get in the playbook before we get out here. It’s going to be a process, but today was smooth. We have to keep learning, keep working.”

“Today was day one and a small bit of install in what we do, and if you watch practice we do a lot of different things with motions and shifts... I’m really excited about what we’re going to do on offense and keep learning.”

“We’re a really close group. If you watch the Wolfpack play over the past couple of years, you can tell we love each other here.  They really care for each.”

“That’s been one of my main goals during the transition, get to know everybody. I wasn’t really around the defense as much throughout the workouts so it was a really good time for me to take the time and talk to those guys, pick their brain, see what they are doing... I look forward to continuing to get to know them.”
