Wolfpack In The Mix For Top 2025 Wideout

One of the state’s most exciting, young receivers in 2023 was Mt. Tabor (NC) wideout Shamarius Peterkin. The 6-2, 175 pound junior hauled in 42 receptions for 824 yards and 12 touchdowns last season. Along the way he’s amassed an offer list that includes the likes of NC State, UNC, Georgia, Florida State, Tennessee, Penn State, and Virginia Tech, just to name a few.

Peterkin will be one of the state’s most highly recruited players headed into the upcoming season.
