“The people here, the coaching staff... someone who didn’t give up on me through the whole recruiting process in high school.”
“They’ve always been there for me, even when I hit the portal. They never gave up on me... I came back home to be a player for coach Doeren.”
“Coach Doeren said I’m able to make up for leaving and going away... I’m coming to be a player for them, work hard, and give them my all because he gave me the opportunity to come back and play for him.”
“My freshman year was a learning period at Oklahoma. I got to learn, get the game flow and learn how things work. Now it’s stepping up into more of a leadership role and learning the foundation of how this place goes.”
“It’s amazing. That’s my guy, since high school. Everybody knows what he did last year. It was great seeing that. Me seeing him since high school, it was nothing new for me. Being back on the same team, I know we can push each other.”
“I wasn’t surprised at all. It was something the world could see then. He’s been doing that.”
“It’s great. Going back to that one game, it was crazy. Sad to say it was my last game and I wasn’t able to pull that one out.”
“I want to be in more of a leadership role. It’s a new team... I want to be a guy who can make plays on the field, speak up in the locker room... be a leader.”
