POSTGAME: Kevin Keatts After Louisville Win
“Give Louisville credit, we came out in the first half and played so well, got a lead and a cushion. At halftime they kind of reversed it.”
“Kenny has these guys playing hard. They came off a great road win over Miami, and we knew it would be a better crowd today and they’d come out to try and put two together.”
“Give our guys credit. DJ Horne was tremendous coming off the bench.”
“I’m excited about it. We were able to finish down the stretch.”
“DJ was able to make plays down the stretch... he found guys.”
“I’m proud of our guys. Another great road win for us.”
“It’s not a thinking. We have accountability in this program. DJ Horne was 30 seconds late to film. I want you to know that. Everybody is held to a higher standard and he responded. He could have pouted a little bit but he came out and he played well.”
“I thought he was great in the second half. We just fed him and he did some great things... we went to him, he had five assists.”
“I thought Mo came in and really gave us a presence as a bigger body in there.”
“We wanted to defend and I thought in the second half we didn’t do a great job.”
“We won the rebounding battle... a lot of people jinxed us. We turned the ball over 15 times and we normally don’t do that.”
“I thought our guys did a good job. It’s a good team win for us.”
“Kam was good in the first half, Mo did a good job... we have so many pieces. Our depth is one of our strengths and as we continue to develop those guys we’ll only get better.”
“They were huge. He never flinched and he stepped up there and knocked them down.”
“In any Division I program road wins are so hard and we have put ourselves in a situation where we have three really good ones.”
