“I definitely watched the game from last year to try to get a feel for what it will be like, but I don’t think I’ll get the true feeling until we step on the court.”

“You don’t want to get the nerves going too high, and we have to stay level-headed.”

“Being a Raleigh kid you know about he rivalry between Duke, North Carolina, and NC State. This one has a lot more bad blood.”

“It’s a full circle monent for me. I can’t wait to get out there.”

“It is the next game on our schedule so we want to keep it like that. First place in the ACC... for us that would be another way to prove we are here.”

“You get up for those type of games.”

“We did get a win at Arizona so I got a taste of it, knowing what it feels like.”

“When Mike comes in the game it takes a lot of pressure off me.”

“It shows how deep we are as a team.”

“The way he’s doing it right now, he’s starting to turn a lot of heads and he just has to keep going. It will be a great test tomorrow.”

“Coach Keatts will get mad at us if we try to preserve some of our energy.”

“When we play the right way and rely on our defense to get things going, we can be a really good team.”

“Dennis Parker, buy stock now, for sure.  From day one he was turning my head... he’s coming into his own and I think Wolfpack Nation is only seeing a little bit of what he can truly be.”

“We’ve got off to slow starts so far this year, so we want to get off to a pretty good start against them.”

“I’m excited.”

“Ice in the veins... I try to reach in my bag for celebrations, but you can’t do it too long because you have to get into the press fast or Keatts will get on me.”
