K-STATE: Klieman, Johnson, Giddens Discuss Bowl Win

No. 25 Kansas State’s Chris Klieman, Avery Johnson, and D.J. Giddens met with the media following the Wildcats’ 28-19 win over No. 18 NC State in the 2023 Pop-Tarts Bowl.

Johnson earned Pop-Tarts Bowl Most Valuable Player honors, completing 14 of 31 passes for 178 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 71 yards and another touchdown on seven carries. Giddens toted the ball 28 times over the course of the game for 152 yards and one score while hauling in a 37-yard touchdown reception in the first quarter.
