COMMIT ALERT: Oklahoma Transfer RB Daylan Smothers Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Oklahoma freshman running back Daylan Smothers, a former four-star recruit out of North Carolina.

Smothers was on campus a couple of weekend’s ago for an official visit. 

He was able to redshirt after playing in just four games as a true freshman.  He rushed for 42 yards on 11 carries.

Smothers will have four years of eligibility remaining.
