COMMIT ALERT: Maryland Transfer Tamarcus Cooley Returning To Raleigh

NC State just landed a commitment from Maryland transfer defensive back Tamarcus Cooley, who played his senior season at Wake Forest (NC) Rolesville High School.

Cooley committed to NC State out of high school before ultimately signing with Maryland.  He played in four games as a true freshman in 2023 for the Terps on special teams and at defensive back.

He received a redshirt and will have four years of eligibility remaining.  Cooley is projected to play nickel or safety for the Wolfpack..
