Kevin Concepcion Named ACC Rookie of the Year

NC State star wide receiver Kevin Concepcion has been named ACC Rookie of the Year after his stellar play this season.

Concepcion had three 100-yard receiving games this season, and following the Wolfpack win against UNC, his totals in the win made him the only player in the FBS with 750+ receiving yards and 250+ rushing yards this season. He's the first FBS player to do that since 2021 and the first ACC player since 2015.

He ranks second in the ACC in TD receptions with 10 – the top mark in the FBS for a freshman (t14th overall). The true freshman ranks third in the ACC in receptions per game (64 total receptions) and ranks second nationally among freshmen.

Concepcion becomes the 10th NC State member to be honored with ACC Rookie of the Year honors, but is the first to win the award since Russell Wilson in 2008.
