“I’m real proud of that... 31 points in the first quarter, that’s pretty awesome, and 24 in the second isn’t too bad either.  I’m real proud of the way they played.”

“We have to try to reload, it’s quick. We’ll get back, have Thanksgiving dinner, watch a little bit of film on Cincinnati, and then tomorrow, same thing as today... but again, great start.”

“At halftime I was really pleased that we did a great job [rebounding].  That’s a very athletic Kentucky team. Petty came in averaging 12 boards a game and she only had two.”

“I thought River Baldwin maybe had the best game she’s had since she’s been at NC State, and we need that from her. We need her to be great consistently, and I think she’s capable of it. Gotta do it.”

“If we can get that going and have a little bit of inside-out combination going we can be a pretty good team.”

“At halftime they had us down for 12 fastbreak points. I thought that was a low number because we were really pushing tempo.”

“I’m proud of myself. I did a good job. Everytime they handed me that stat sheet.... you’re done, you’re done... it was nice to manage [minutes] with three games in three days.”

“That’s what is sad about this NET thing. The NET, a lot of it is based on efficiency. If you go to your bench and... we only scored eight points in the fourth quarter and NET wise that hurts us.  I’m not going to change. You want to show respect to your opponent and also get those kids who bust their butt everyday in practice opportunities to show what they can do in games. I’m not going to change it but I don’t like the NET because of that. It rewards people for running the score up and I think that’s a bad thing.”

“Like it or not they are going to compare ACC and SEC.”

“You have to show up, play well, and take care of business. I’m real proud of our girls.”
