Tony Gibson: "It's A Different Challenge"

NC State defensive coordinator Tony Gibson discusses the play of his unit, Virginia Tech, and much more with the media.

"It’s been a great week. Virginia Tech is on a hot streak and their quarterback presents problems in the run game and extends plays.”

“We have to be very focused and on top of our assignments all week long. The kids have done a great job... we have to play clean and play smart, be ready for the challenge.”

“Giving up the touchdown that we probably shouldn’t have given up... we wanted the shutout and didn’t get it.”

“We’re very proud of the guys and how they played... I think  we had more fans, happy Wolfpack Nation showed up. It was great to go down there and get the win.”

“Jaylon is very, very smart. He’s played all three positions in this defense at linebacker for us... I give him a lot of credit. Not a lot of guys would have stayed here for five years in a backup role, and he’s taken full advantage of his opportunity.”
