Timothy McKay: "We Have To Block And Do Our Job"

NC State offensive lineman Timothy McKay met with the media to discuss his recent play, Wake Forest, and much more.

“It means a lot. I feel like NC State is the in-state school, and we come in here everyday knowing we can win the state... playing them each year really says something about us.”

“It’s different. They always play us hard.”

“They play off a lot, so just being really strong up front and getting the ball out quick is really important.  Good d-line, good ‘backers, so really good competition for us.”

“It’s the longest rivalry other than Minnesota and Wisconsin, so it’s really important.”

“No matter who is back there we have to block and do our job.”

“I’m really proud of him coming in here as a redshirt freshman and doing his job.”
