Savion Jackson: "It's A Lot Different Than Anything Else"

NC State defensive end Savion Jackson met with the media to discuss the defense's recent play, Wake Forest, and much more.

“Just continuing the things we’ve been doing in practice... practicing hard and sticking to the same schedule and formula helping us win games.”

“I haven’t been there in a while. I think I missed two times going in there for injury in the past... it’s going to be a great time.”

“I feel like that would be cool. We have something similar with Clemson... it would make those games a lot more competitive.”

“Their mesh... it’s a lot different than anything else in the country, we feel like.”

“You have to hold those gaps a little bit longer because those running backs and quarterbacks like to bounce back out.”

“It’s pride.  A three-man rush is definitely a battle... we have a lot of pride in that and we play hard.”

“We get to play our couple of drives as hard as we can, and as soon as we’re gassed or need a break a whole new group that we trust can come in and give us a break.”
