RALEIGH – NC State women's basketball secured its second-straight top-10 signing class as three high school student-athletes inked National Letters of Intent to join the squad beginning with the 2024-25 season.

The Wolfpack received official commitments from ESPN No. 17 Zamareya Jones, ESPN No. 47 Devyn Quigley and Lorena Awou. The three players make up a 2024 class that has been ranked as high as 10th nationally by ESPN.

Lorena Awou • 6-5 Center • East Moline, Illinois • United High School
Averaged a double-double last season as a high school junior with 12 points and 12.2 rebounds per game … All-Western Big 6 selection following the 2022-23 season after rebounding average paced the conference…Ranked second all time in rebounding at United Township and is 12 boards away from the record at time of signing…659 career points entering her senior season.

"Lorena brings great athleticism to our inside game," said Moore. "Her ability to run the floor and chase down rebounds will put a lot of pressure on defenses. Her combination of strength and mobility will allow her to be a factor in the paint on both ends of the court. Relatively new to the game, Lorena has a high ceiling."

Zamareya Jones • 5-7 Guard • Bethel, North Carolina • North Pitt High School
No. 17 player in ESPN's Class of 2024 rankings … ESPN scouts grade of 96 and a five-star signee … Averaged 28.9 points, 7.0 assists, 5.4 steals and 4.6 rebounds per game last season as a high school junior … Scored over 1,700 points in her three completed years at North Pitt … 2023 North Carolina Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year … Three-time Region 3 Player of the Year … 2022-23 MaxPreps All-American and conference Player of the Year.

"Zamareya will add another gear to our transition game," said Moore. "Super quick with the ball in her hands and having great court vision, she makes everyone around her better. Her three-point range along with her explosiveness to the rim creates shots for herself and her teammates. 'Z' is an exciting player who our fans will love watching."

Devyn Quigley • 5-11 Wing • Manchester, New Jersey • Manchester Township
No. 47 player in ESPN's Class of 2024 rankings … ESPN scouts grade of 94 … Averaged 34.8 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.8 steals per game last season as a high school junior … Hit the 1,000 career point mark early in 2022-23 … Two-time Shore Sports Network B-South Player of the Year (2021-22, 2022-23) … Multi-time All-State honoree … She Got Game Classic MVP … Set single-game (47) and tournament (125) scoring records at WOBM Christmas Classic last season.

"We're excited about adding Devyn's versatility to the guard position," said Moore. "She has been a prolific scorer who can light it up at all three levels. Her deep range wil spread defenses out, and her length and athleticism will create a matchup nightmare for opponents. Devyn will fill up the stat sheet."

ESPN ON THE WOLFPACK'S 2024 SIGNING CLASS:
"Jones is a small, quick playmaking guard who can create with the best in the country. She is dynamic and shifty off the bounce and knocks down the 3-ball with range. Defensively, she is tough on the ball and has great instincts as she reads the floor. Quigley is a sharp-shooting wing with a good frame and size. She is a crafty scorer and a solid perimeter defender. Awou is a center out of Illinois who stands at 6-5 and is long with a strong base. She finishes with a high release point with her right and left hands, rim runs and clogs the paint."
