“It was big, especially for the offense. The team needed it. I was glad I could be there for the team in a crucial time when we put the game away.”

“I laughed at it actually... I’m glad he did that. It’s good to have a coach have your back and stand up for you.  We’re a family, so we stand up for each other.”

“It meant a lot.  Not having as many targets as I had last year, it definitely meant a lot to get targeted the ball... playing fast, playing free, making contact catches was a big thing for me.”

“It gave me a boost of energy... it was good for me.”

“That was different for me because I’d never been a part of an offense that huddled where you had to run out to the ball... it was a good gameplan by coach Anae. I feel it worked out well.”

“It was a change at the right time. I don’t think anyone knew we’d be doing that. It worked out in our benefit.”

“I’m glad to see him doing what he’s doing.  He has a bright future. The coaches do a really good job of putting him in positions to be successful.  He has a bright future here at NC State... he came in with a lot of energy and excitement. I knew he’d be an exciting player.”

“It’s like taking advantage of your opportunities.  Whenever the ball gets to you, you never know when the ball will get to you. They go through their reads and if you get the ball coming to you, you have to make a play. When you get an opportunity you have to be ready and take advantage of your opportunity.”

“It’s a lot of competition but we’re also encouraging each other.”

“Staying close to each other... working hard in practice.”
