PTWP: DJ Burns On The Start Of The Season

NC State forward DJ Burns spoke briefly with the media at Primetime With The Pack.

“It’s good to start off the year knowing you have people supporting you and being able to do something nice for them.”

“Definitely my young guy Dennis Parker. We wanted to show him off a little bit and let him get his dunks in.  He’s someone they got to look forward to, show them little things and introduce them to everybody... have some fun.”

“It’s awesome. It kind of feels like last year. We’re picked seventh in our league, no one sees us coming and we’re putting everything together the right way.  It’s going to be a lot of fun to shock everyone.”

“I love it.  I’ve been [the underdog] my whole life.  So I don’t know anything else.”

“They are so cool. I hang out with those guys all the time.  It’s a great group of people.   Its always fun to be around them.”

“She’s electric. Easily one of the toughest college basketball players I know at least. It’s always fun when she’s around. That was an amazing dunk. I’m going to go back and watch it again.”
