Sean Brown: "We're Ready To Play"

NC State safety Sean Brown met with the media to discuss his recent play and the upcoming matchup against Clemson.

“They are a talented team like always. They have talented players and talented coaches, so we’re going to take them like it’s another team on the schedule.”

“They put their pads on like we put our pads, so they are like another team.”

“I just like making plays behind the line of scrimmage.”

“I’m trying to be aggressive but smart at the same time.”

“They have some talented slot receivers, 6 and 0... they have a good QB, smart QB... he tries not to make dumb decisions, so we have to play our brand of football and make it a hard time for them.”

“I’ve been working on my man skills and disguising... don’t give the quarterback just one picture to look at, make it difficult for him to see what defense we’re in.”

“It could be tough at times, but when everybody does their job it just makes it very easy for you. If I know what my guy to my right and left is doing it makes it easier for me.”

“We need to play our brand of football and not focus on what the offense is doing on the offensive side of the ball.”
