“At the end of the day I want to make every play I can to help the team win and have success on the defense.  It felt good.”

“We lead the nation in sacks, and that’s a big deal, but we want to be a good defense as a whole and get better.”

“I definitely matured a lot, and [getting] that in-game rep and feeling as a freshman helped me play faster this year.”

“Duke is a pretty good team. They don’t beat themselves, so we’re going to try and do our best.”

“We just go and play ball.”

“We just play off of each other.  The d-line, we have our assignments... and we just play off each other.”

“Nah, I just see them as another opponent. I don’t think of them as a rivalry.”

“We have a great d-line room. We can pretty much put anybody in the room in the game and have success, so that’s a good feeling.”

“I’d say Davin, CJ, and Savion are the leaders up front. They play at an extremely high level and it brings everyone else along with them. They aren’t the most vocal leaders but they lead in their play.”

“You’re going to make every one count and play as hard as you can every snap that you get.”

“The ceiling is very high because coach Gibby holds us up to a really high standard.”

“I just like to be disruptive and get-off... knock people back. That’s all I really do. I enjoy that a lot.”

“I know when Red is next to me I have to be careful because I know if I’m rushing up he’s going to get the quarterback running out of the pocket, so I have to be careful in case he misses.”
