BREAKING: Kirk To Transfer

Inside Pack Sports has learned that NC State junior wing Shaun Kirk will transfer.

Kirk played in five games this season and averaged 2.2 points and 2.8 rebounds in 11.0 minutes.

According to sources, Kirk is expected to transfer to UNC Pembroke.

Doesn't his brother play for UNC-Pembroke?

I remember at one point there being some chatter about his brother coming here as a walk-on before he got the UNC-P scholarship offer.

Looks like the two will get to play together afterall.

I hope Kirk tears it up at Pembroke. Wish it had worked out at NCSU, but he was clearly overmatched. Didnt progress much. Glad he is moving down so he can have some fun and get his degree. Best of luck to him.

It's hard for me to believe he was so bad that he hardly ever sniffed the floor, even during some blowouts. He seems to have all the tools to be a great defender and decent offensive player. Would love to know why things didn't work out here.
