“That’s my dog. Seeing him do that, I was very happy for him and I realize I have to do it too. Before the season we were about making the return game dominant, but seeing him do that, it only makes me motivated to do it as well.”
“I think we have a good scheme going into the week. Guys are locked in depending on what their assignments are.”
“We have to do a really good job of executing.”
“If we do our job, we’ll be okay.”
“We were out here during the summer working... all the hard work is paying off. We just have to keep building from here. We can’t settle after three games. We have to keep building the whole season.”
“Coach is saying be one of 11 every time you hit the field. Do your part, lock on to your assignment.”
“We’ve been going hard all week. We’re really excited for ACC play... I can’t get wait to get down there and compete.”
“Game one was a feel out game, getting used to it, getting used to the ball... I think that was a good lesson to learn. Going into game two, I felt more confident.”
“It got tough at times, but having older guys like that leading the way and guiding you really helped.”
“God put me here for a reason. If I can stay focused and keep the passion I have for football, everything is going to work out for itself.”
“It’s only a matter of time. God is going to do his thing.”
“Brennan is a new quarterback and we had to adjust to him a little bit, let him guide us, and believe he’ll get the ball where it needs to be.”
“I think we’re still finding out. You’re going to have kinks throughout the season; it’s about adjusting and working through them.”
“They are a pretty good team... we just have to challenge them, make some explosive plays, and hopefully come out with the win.”
“It’ll be really big to go in there and get a win for [Armstrong] and to get our first ACC win.”
