NC State Safety Devan Boykin: "We've Moved On"

NC State safety Devan Boykin recently met with the media to discuss his play this season and the upcoming matchup against VMI.

“Defensively we’re focused on getting better with our eyes and more communication on the back-end.”

“It was obviously tough watching the film... we know there was stuff we missed out there because of our bad communication and bad discipline with our eyes.”

“We’re going to take that loss for what it was. We’ve moved on. We have to get better in practice, play a lot faster.”

“It’s frustrating, especially during the game and after the game... self-inflicted wounds and doing stuff that we practice and just not being able to execute. That’s what hurt us the most.”

“A lot of motion. They have some good wideouts and big backs. We have to be ready to play this week... just go out there and do it.”

“I feel like this game is definitely a rebound game for us. We have to be able to come out and execute a lot better than we did last week.”
