Timothy McKay: "We're Blocking All That Out"

NC State right tackle Timothy McKay discusses his start to the season, social media, VMI, and much more with the media.

“We’re blocking all that out... we know what we have in the building so we’re focused on that.  All the social media and outside noise we’re trying to block that out.”

“You just have to delete the appp, so it’s not that hard.”

“Just being delibrate.  We can’t take a single play off in practice... go out there each play, make sure your hat, your hands, everything is in order. It’s really important. It’s all going to click soon.”

“It was 24-17 late in the game... we had a strip-sack fumble and went three-and-out, didn’t convert.  It’s frustrating but we have to learn from that, improve next week, do better.

“It was a huge emphasis last week... I feel like we did a much better job last week [on short yardage].”

“Every week is an opportunity to clean up last week’s mistakes.”

“We’re going to try and execute everything we can.”
