“Absolutely. Collin is a great kicker. He earned the right to be in that competition, and if you don’t want to compete for the job you’re not in the right sport.”
“That’s a big key for me as well, hopefully play at the next level next year, you have to compete for everything you've got.
“He pushed me, I pushed him, and it wasn’t just Collin. Kanoah is a really, really good kicker. We all bounce ideas off each other and competed, but we’re still good friends at the end of the day.”
“Chris is a great kicker. Chris and I actually go way back. He did a great job. He set high expectations here and I look forward to meeting those expectations.”
“That’s what we do. Someone always has to follow the great, and the way I look at it, it would be cool to win the Groza two years in a row.”
“I love it. Raleigh has been great to me so far. I got engaged here. My fiance and I, we live out in Knightdale actually. It’s been great. I love every part of Raleigh. I think it’s a lot different than Western Kentucky, much bigger city, reminds me a lot of back home in Arizona.”
“Everybody here is so welcoming.”
“Win the Groza... I set my standards high. To win the Groza, that’s what I set out to do, but ultimately to win football games... if I perform to the best of my abilities I can do it. That’s the goal, that’s the standard, but I want to help my team.”
