“We kept working hard... we’re ready to play, ready to win.”

“I feel like I worked hard this spring. I kept my head down all summer and all spring and grinded.  It’s my time now. I’ve been working hard and I’m grateful for the opportunity.”

“I feel like we have a lot more speed on the offensive side of the ball this year.  Our offense last year was great, but I feel like the receivers on the offense are way more fast.”

“I was behind guys like Darryl Jones, Devin Carter, Keyon... I learned from all those guys and I took advantage of the opportunities.”

“You have to stay ready.”

“This year during the spring I realized I’m going to have to step up and play a bigger role this year.”

“Brennan can really throw the ball.  Receivers on the outside, my guys JuJu, Ant, Dacari, BR, Keyon... all those guys can run. We can all run routes and really just run past guys. We’re all fast and physical too.”

“I got bigger.  I gained 20 pounds from last year... thanks to coach Thunder and the strength staff.”

“I knew I had to get bigger. I talked with coach Joker after the winter and he said I needed to get bigger.  I was around 180 at that point... I just grinded and got bigger.”

“I was 174 last year, and I weighed in at 194 this summer. It worked.”
