“That’s a bad dude. Great run stopper, pass rush is good. He brings a lot to the table... he’s going to be a big part to this year.”
“We have some young guys, Travali Price was doing his thing last year. Brandon Cleveland has stepped into his role.”
“We have Red Hibbler and Noah Potter, those are two big guys who’ve joined our room, fortunately. We have some dogs in our room that are willing to work.”
“They both add their own kind of thing. Noah coming from a Big Ten school, he knows a lot. Red is a great pass rusher. We all have things to work on, but they both bring their own unique thing to the team.”
“The secondary has got better. Our d-line having Savion and CJ back is going to be great. P. Wilson and the linebackers are going to be great, too, so I think it’s going to be 100 better than last year.”
“Our defense is doing things other defenses in the conference haven’t done. We feel like we have a tough defense and a certain standard we want to uphold this year.”
“To get back to the basics. A lot of things I did last year was thanks to my athletic ability, but I wanted to get back to the basics and get my fundamentals and technique down.”
“I feel that kind of conditioning really comes with practice. Coach Thunder always teaches us to go hard.”
“Personally, I like lifting, so it’s a great environment to be in, around other guys, hanging out and having fun. When you’re grinding with all your friends and teammates, it doesn’t really feel like a grind.”
“It’s got to a point to where it’s all I know... it’s been fun and easy for me.”
“It’s crazy to think back to 2020, that’s three years ago. It doesn’t feel like three years, it feels like yesterday. It’s very surreal.”
