COMMIT ALERT: 4-Star Athlete Jonathan Paylor Picks NC State
NC State just landed a huge commitment from Burlington (NC) Cummings four-star standout Jonathan Paylor, who is arguably the most dynamic player in the state.
He picked NC State over offers from North Carolina, South Carolina, Penn State, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Tennessee, Alabama, Virginia, Clemson, Ohio State, LSU, Tennessee, and Texas A&M, among others.
As a junior at Cummings, Paylor rushed for 1,054 yards and 17 touchdowns on 77 carries, averaging 13.7 yards per carry. He also caught 27 passes for 725 yards and five touchdowns. Paylor also played special teams, returning two kicks for touchdowns.
He is a consensus four-star recruit and the No. 2 overall player in the state according to 247’s composite ranking.
