Mitchell officially visited East Carolina, Maryland, and NC State. He talked with Inside Pack Sports shortly after his trip to Raleigh.
“The visit was great,” said Mitchell. “I’ve been to State before but this one was different. I got to experience being around a lot of the coaches, the players, and I got to see a lot more of the campus and stuff. Rylan Vann was my host and he was great. He was very straightforward with me as far as telling me about how everything was going, enrolling, and stuff. Because I really want to enroll early if I do decide to commit here.
“Overall, it was good at NC State. The vibe was good. The people, the environment, the city, all of that has been great.”
Mitchell is a consensus three-star prospect. On3 rates him as the 15th best player in North Carolina and the No. 39 offensive tackle in the nation.
