COMMIT ALERT: Local LB Zane Williams Picks NC State

NC State has landed a commitment from Wake Forest (NC) standout linebacker Zane Williams‍.

Williams, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound linebacker, earned an offer from NC State over the weekend at camp.  

An all-state selection, Williams totaled 142 tackles, 34.5 tackles for a loss, and 10 sacks last season. He was named Defensive Player of the Year in the NAC 6 Conference.

He is also the younger brother of former NC State linebacker Seth Williams.
