Fun fact about Tommy White: he finished third in the SEC in errors this season, and the two in front of him were both from Mississippi State.

Another fun fact about Thomas White...he's hitting .389 with 20 bombs and 89 RBI.

Only bring that up b/c there were several folks up in their feelings here that said Thomas wouldn't be able to have as good or better numbers at LSU

Boy, was that ever wrong.

I had no doubts he'd be able to succeed at the plate in the SEC. If he truly left because he wanted to play the field instead of solely DH-ing, then that team would have to deal with that level of liability. It's clearly worked out for LSU.

Btw, White started 40 of 51 games at third base with the other 11 at DH.
