COMMIT ALERT: 2024 Safety Brody Barnhardt Picks The Pack

Charlotte (NC ) Providence Day S Brody Barnhardt‍ has been one of the top prospects on NC State’s recruiting board regardless of position. The Pack prioritized him early on and that loyalty was rewarded earlier today when Barnhardt committed to State.

NC State was the first power five in-state team to offer Barnhardt. By the time he announced his commitment Barhardt held offers from East Carolina, Charlotte, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Boston College, Wake Forest, Duke, UNC, Wisconsin and Georgia Tech.

Barnhardt released a top three back in December that included NC State, West Virginia and Virginia Tech. He visited State last Friday for an unofficial visit which helped seal the deal on his commitment to the Wolfpack.

During his junior season Barnhardt had 20 catches for 343 yards and five scores at receiver. On defense he collected 102 tackles, two tackles for loss, five pass breakups and four interceptions while helping lead Providence Day to a state title.
