Josh Pastner: "They Have A Really Good Basketball Team"

Georgia Tech head coach Josh Pastner met with the media after the loss to NC State.

“Credit to North Carolina State... coach Keatts has done a heck of a job. Their team is good.  I think they are going to be a dangerous team in the NCAA Tournament.”

“The turnaround they had from last year to this year is not easy to do and that’s a credit to coach Keatts.”

“Burns... him and Ross.  If I’d went in the game and told you Smith and Joiner would shoot 3-for-17 and score 10 points, and not win the game, you’d think I’d have six eyeballs.”

“I think we’ll have seven teams probably in the NCAA Tournament... we have teams who can make runs.  The league is probably a litle different than what it was last year.”

“I look at North Carolina State as similar to Miami last year... they went to an Elite Eight with great guard play North Carolina State is capable of that.”

“They have great guards in and you throw in DJ Burns, who is really good too. They have a really good basketball team.”
