That one word can be used to describe Alim McNeill. There aren't a lot of football players to come along like him. He's a kid who at 285 pounds can play middle linebacker in 4A football and run a 4.6 40-yard dash.
When Alabama offers you a scholarship the day you're set to pick a school, you're pretty damn good.
McNeill a relentless player who has a motor that is always running. He could probably play linebacker in college, but programs view him as a game-changer at defensive end. He already flashes elite pass-rushing traits without spending really any time at the position.
It's scary to think of how good he could be at defensive end once he settles in and begins to learn the position.
Barring injury, McNeill will play as a true freshman and compete for a starting spot.
