Who Did He Pick NC State Over? Virginia Tech and Tennessee among others
IPS Take On De'Von Graves: One of the top commitments in the 2018 class, Graves was the Wolfpack's first pledge and he's remain firm throughout the process despite vigorous pursuit from Virginia Tech and Tennessee.
He's a big-time athlete with plus-size at cornerback, and he has terrific ball skills. He has great footwork and should give NC State another playmaker in the secondary.
What makes Graves so important is he enrolls in January. His upside and ability gives him a legit chance at carving out a role in the Wolfpack's secondary as a true freshman.
We wouldn't be surprised at all if he opens the 2018 season as the starter at cornerback.
He is that good.
