IPS Take On Gabe Gonzalez: The 6-foot-5, 285-pounder made multiple visits to Raleigh before picking the Wolfpack, and NC State offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford was thrilled to receive the news.
Gonzalez should fit right in with the Wolfpack's Band of Brothers.
On film, he's extremely aggressive... he plays with a nasty demeanor and edge you love to see from linemen. His leverage and pad level is good, and Gonzalez plays to the whistle, often working his way to the second-level. Gonzalez seems to have one goal in mind: put his defender, or defenders, on the ground.
A Shrine Bowl selection, he started at right tackle, and he has the versatility to play all five line positions at NC State.
