IPS Take On Joe Babros: Joe Babros has a chance to come in and play right away for NC State. A mid-year enrollee, the junior college standout should give the Wolfpack another pass-rushing option in 2018.
He has good size at 6-foot-5 and 250 pounds, and Babros flashes outstanding pass-rushing traits. He can bend around the edge, is explosive, uses his hands well, and can slide inside and rush from tackle as well.
At worst, he could be a situational pass-rusher as a junior for the Wolfpack.
NC State needed an instant contributor at defensive end, and Babros should be that guy. He will have three years to play two seasons in Raleigh.
