All four of NC State's commitments were major contributors for North Carolina the 2017 Shrine Bowl with Ricky Person‍ and Devin Carter‍ both scoring touchdowns in the 55-24 win.

Person was terrific.

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound tailback rushed for 180 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries, and he added another 23 yards receiving and a score on three receptions.  He had touchdown runs of 52 yards and 72 yards, and his touchdown reception was a 14-yard grab.

His 72-yard score came on the game's final play.

Person was arguably the most impressive player in the game, and he took home North Carolina Offensive Player of the Game honors.

Carter, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound wide receiver, finished with two catches for 30 yards.  He opened the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown grab on North Carolina's first possession.

Kicker Chris Dunn‍ handled the kicking and punting duties.  Dunn made all of his extra point attempts and missed a 45-yard field goal right before the half wide left.

He also averaged 37.5 yards per punt with one pinned inside the 10-yard line and a long of 45 yards.

Finally, lineman Gabriel Gonzalez‍ started at right tackle and played well for North Carolina.  He played the majority of the game, helping pave the way for the team's 303 total rushing yards.
