“Wong and Miller were really good down the stretch. I thought they made every play that Miami needed... those guys were really good, special.”
“It was a game of runs. It was a fun game.”
“The difference in the game was we didn’t get a lot of stops at the end. Giving up 21 points in transition is never a good thing.”
“They stayed with his ball screens a little longer.”
“Where we struggled a little bit is we didn’t get a lot of production from our three’s and four’s, our forwards.”
“Our press was effective early but when we stopped scoring we couldn’t get into the press.”
“If you can get a senior or older guard to run your team... he’s a guy who makes us go a little bit.”
“I thought Beverly came off the bench and did a really good job. I thought Joseph, who doesn’t get a lot of credit as a player, defensively, was productive.”
“Jordan Miller did a great job of taking the game over... we didn’t have an answer for that as far as getting stops.”
“Wong and Pack take tough shots who make it. I have two guards who can do the same thing. We didn’t get the stops on our end.”
“D.J. Burns can really score the basketball. He has a great touch. He played a career high minutes tonight and we were able to throw him the ball.”
“Good team. They have two guys who played all of those games last year... they won a lot of games together and you add in three or four transfers, it makes for a good team.”
