“I think I’m going to be pretty excited for us coming out there, understanding that it’s my last game in the Carter. As a unit, it really hasn’t hit us yet, but at the same time, I do lay down and think about it every night. I’m not sure. I guess I have to go out there and see what it feels like out there. I’m excited though.”

“It’s just another thing I can put on my resume. Either way it goes, I’m more proud of the fact that I was able to come to this university my freshman year and be able to contribute all five years. I think that’s what I’m most proud of.”

“We’re brothers. I haven’t been a part of a team that’s bonded as strongly as we have, especially with the adversity we went through with the 4-8 season and Covid. We’ve all been right here with each other this whole time. Building that relationship through the shared adversity, we’ve built a really strong bond.”

“Through all of that shared adversity, it’s been part of our DNA now, doing what we need to in order to get back to where we’re supposed to be. We’ve built a lot of resilience through all of the things we’ve been through since we’ve been here.”

“I’ve gone through a lot. It’s something different every year. You still try to get used to it. You still try to go with the flow. As far as personal growth, I’ve grown a lot as a person. I’ve grown a lot as a player. It’s kind of bittersweet seeing it come to an end.”

“They’ve got a lot of skilled guys. Zay Flowers is a threat that we’re going to have to watch out for. They do a good job making sure your eyes are in places they’re not supposed to be, so we have to make sure we have good eye discipline and play the ball well downfield.”

“I think it’ll mean more than anything, being a part of a team that created a legacy here. I’m excited to be a part of that."
