Although the weather is less than ideal, NC State will be hosting several important visitors over the next 48 hours.At least three prospects will be making extensive two-day visits. These include major Wolfpack target WR Jordan Shipp, OL Deryc Plazz and CB Santana Wilson.This will be Shipp's first visit back to NC State since late January so getting him for two days is a very good step in the right direction. Of all the wide receivers on the board currently, he's one we feel pretty good about.Plazz will be making the trip back from Florida after his initial visit a couple of months ago. Miami has made a huge push for Plazz in recent weeks and that's likely to be the biggest hurdle the Pack will have to cross. He just visited there and will return for an official visit with the Canes on June 16. I believe he is scheduled to officially visit NC State on June 23 but I'll have to confirm that.Santana Wilson (son of former Wolfpack standout Adrian Wilson) will be on hand for two days and obviously this trip will be critical as to whether the Pack can remain in the thick of his recruiting. He plans to release his top five on April 22.There are two primary offensive linemen scheduled to be at State for the spring game- Fletcher Westphal and Bubba Grayson. Westphal released a top 12 earlier that did not include NC State but because of coach Tujague he's continues to stay in touch with the Pack.While we don't think Grayson has an offer from State currently we do think he's someone that could potentially be offered during the spring eval period.Two of State's top receiver targets are slated to be on hand Saturday- Alex Taylor was just at State a couple weeks ago and will reportedly return as will Keenan Jackson. Jackson has made multiple trips to State in the past but this will be his first visit back in a while.Charlotte DB Quentin Reddish will attend fresh off of his releasing a top three that included NC State, Virginia Tech and Wake forest.Virginia DL Kendal Howard is supposed to be on hand with this trip coming just a couple of weeks after his first trip to NC State. Virginia Tech has been perceived to be the team to beat so getting him back so soon would appear to be a positive development. Four 2023 commits are planning to visit- Daemon Fagan, Kelvon McBride , Bishop Fitzgerald and PWO commit Jayden Hollar.Three current commits- Cedrick Bailey, Cannon Lewis and Asaad Brown are all expected to attend the spring game. Brody Barnhardt will be in Florida this weekend visiting his sister.
