NC State women's soccer head coach, Gary Higgins, announced the program's 2025 schedule on Monday afternoon. The Wolfpack is set to compete in 18 regular-season matches, including eight games at home at Dail Soccer Stadium and 10 on the road.
NC State enters its first season under Higgins ready to face tough competition as nine of the Pack's regular season opponents appeared in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, including ACC foes Duke, Wake Forest and North Carolina, all of whom reached the national semifinals, with North Carolina winning the championship.
The Pack will host a preseason Red vs. White scrimmage on Wednesday, Aug. 6, and play an exhibition game at Liberty on Aug. 9 before kicking off the regular season at home against James Madison on Aug. 14 at 7 p.m..
Following the home opener, the Pack will travel for a three-game stretch, visiting East Carolina on Aug. 17, Michigan State on Aug. 21, and Davidson on Aug. 24.
NC State will return to Raleigh to host Western Carolina on Aug. 27, before heading west to face Utah on Aug. 31.
The Pack then travels to Elon on Sept. 4 and wraps up its non-conference slate at Dail Soccer Stadium against Campbell on Sept. 7.
ACC play will begin at home against Notre Dame on Sept. 11, followed by a road trip to Southern Methodist on Sept. 18 before returning to Raleigh to host Florida State on Sept. 21.
The Pack will hit the road again traveling to Virginia Tech on Sept. 25, followed by a home match up against Wake Forest on Oct. 2.
NC State's final out-of-state games of the regular season include visits to Boston College on Oct. 9 and Pittsburgh on Oct. 17.
The Pack will close out the regular season with a two-match homestand, hosting Louisville on Oct. 23 and Duke on Oct. 26, before concluding the regular season on the road against North Carolina on Thursday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m.
All home matches will be played at Dail Soccer Stadium on Cates Avenue, with free parking available. Kickoff times for home games are scheduled for 7 p.m.
